From a Taoist philosophical perspective, true intelligence is all-encompassing and selfless. It is beyond the grasp of words and the intellect.(1) This is what is behind the Taoist orientation towards self-organization,(2) and it is the kind of intelligence that is emulated in the 老子 Tao Te Ching and the 莊子 Chuang-tzu.(3)
