Daoist philosophy, like for instance Buddhist philosophy, are philosophies that make us also physically experience, work with, and reflect concepts and organizational patterns, instead of exclusively intellectually dealing with them. They are “body mind philosophies”.

Regarding politicians and corporate leaders in the climate crisis and in other important public issues and tasks: It is difficult to realize concepts in the “external” world that we have not ourselves “incorporated”. With the body mind unity lost, we sow chaos.

I like the fragmented way the Daodejing is built in its traditional versions–pieces put together. Not all the pieces might really belong there, but there is a solid base of „thought“/structure/system that underlies the pieces. The Daodejing as a whole is in itself a complex, multidimensional, and multilayered piece of text/context spanning wisdom from much more than merely the human world. It presents and represents a deep network of spheres. The Daodejing uses poetic language to present things beyond human language. It has inspired me to put together my own sprawling and „fragmented“ network of texts, aphorisms, photos, and videos.
